I continued to notice my Achilles today. Warm-up felt good, two easy miles, but after 5 x 800 meters it was time to call it, and go easy on the way home. I didn't get to run A. home, which is a routine I look forward to (I like the route, our pace and the company), but need to be true to my primary goal. Stay healthy. Losing sight of that would be ass-holish and counter-productive.
On the up side, all of my 800's were sub 3:00, or ten seconds faster than my previous fastest timed 800. I'm enjoying not having a watch, but having these periodic timed events that show I am making progress. Now it's time to go make progress on resting up. See you in a few days.
