Today I spent a good bit of time on the interwebs, trying to find some article that would support my desire to avoid a rest day. Instead I found a bunch of articles that talked about over-training in nonsense terms.
Case in point:
By running nearly at race pace, your body becomes accustomed to running close to its upper limit (though not exceeding it).
How do I exceed my upper limit? Oh, right, I don't. Neither do you. Or anyone else. Sometimes, when I reach really deep and grab for some strength or determination that I've never been able to grasp before, I get closer to my upper limit. Which is my goal.
