It was warmer than I expected today, and drier. After gearing up for being cold and wet it was a pleasant surprise to be warm and dry, at least until I drenched my super high tech old cotton tee shirt with sweat.
A. baked *awesome* goods for the community composting project at McCarren. I had a piece of vegan spice cake that blew my mind. I never imagined I would be saying that sentence.
M. and I ran a quick 400 on the track after the run. His really was quick, and mine was quick for me. Now I can run one quarter of a five minute mile [grin].
